Exactly what I Wanted

My son wanted a blender "just like Daddy's." This fits the bill. It is small, maybe about 10 inches tall on the base. That is fine, though. It fits in his kitchen well. We just got it today, so I don't know how it will hold up over time. You can put liquid in it, which I was hoping would be the case. The directions say not to leave liquid in it for over 24 hours.

Expensive - but not sure there's much better

My 2 year old boy loves his "moothies" and I wanted to find him a blender for his kitchen. It's hard to find kitchen toys that are not overly girly. This blender weakly moves around the banana and strawberry that comes with it, but it's pretty expensive for what it is. I have no trouble dropping money on good products, especially for my little one but I would probably have priced this around $16.99. The strawberry and banana are not at all realistic.Price aside, he likes it. But that's because he loves blenders in general. If I were to do it over again, I'd find something a little different.

great toy

I picked one of these up at a consignment sale for my then 15 month old daughter who was fascinated with play kitchens. this is one of her favorite toys in her pretend kitchen - she likes to stick plastic toys inside and push the button to watch it spin... apparently this is hilarious to a little kid because she just laughs and laughs. It's quite durable - she is not exactly super coordinated and has dropped it a couple times and it just keeps going. loved this toy so much we are adding to her collection from the same manufacturer.
