Awesome! But fragile...

This blender is powerful, quieter than any other bender I've had and we love the convenience of the spigot. The only problem is that the parts break often. I completely disassemble and put it through the dishwasher every time I use it, so that might be why I have problems with things breaking, so if you don't want a clean blender or aren't as lazy as me (are willing to hand-wash) maybe it'll last longer for you:) I've had it for about 4 years and use it about 5 times a week. The first thing that broke was the spigot. Pieces just start cracking off and the edges are sharp and cut me pretty often (I guess I'm too lazy to be careful too:)). I've had to replace the spigot twice, the gasket twice and the blender jar once. The Hamilton Beach website is easy to navigate and order from and the parts are reasonable, but you'll pay as much, if not more, in shipping as you pay for the part. Regardless, I love it enough to just keep replacing the parts instead of buying a new blender. It's the best one out there as far as I can tell. You don't have to put things in a specific order to make sure they blend. I've never tried to blend anything it couldn't handle. I use it for my protein and fruit smoothies almost every day, but have also made margaritas, soups and sauces in it with no problem. It is actually really easy to take apart and clean when something breaks and spills smoothie all over (only 5 times now in 4 years, but it's still nice to be able to clean it easily).
