does what it says it does

the wave action design works wonders. it causes a whirlpool motion that drags all of the mixture down the blades. no more floating ice chunks and fruit bits. it's perfect for making smoothies. the perforated detachable cylinder in the center is perfect for creating carrot juice. it's just like a juicer.

This blender is terrific!! it's got more power than most, grinds, chops, blends, etc. - does amazing things with smoothies and ice ... AND has this great inner liner (removable) if you are blending things with pulp, seeds, etc., so all that residue stays in the liner and not in your beverage. everything's dishwasher-able - and i also love that the pitcher is one piece vs. removable blade, rubber gasket, etc. - fewer pieces, etc ... when comparing the features and benefits of blenders to price - there IS no comparison. so glad i did my homework!

Totally Worthless

This product sucks, it left chunks in my smoothy. That was the entire reason I bought this product was to have smoothies in the morning for breakfast but it was totally worthless. Buy a different blender!
