This blender works well for soft items (ex: almond milk and berries) if you try to add a frozen banana in there- well you're basically standing there 15min wiggling it back and forth trying to get the blade to catch it... Also the "wave" only works with thin mixtures as well. I maybe am trying to do to much with it but when people reviewed it as a great machine for smoothie making I didn't assume I was the only one who froze yogurt into little cups and froze bananas- all so they would both last longer... It doesn't mix those well at all.It does look nice sitting on my counter and also works really well if you're making anything without a frozen ingredient :)

Fantastic blender. Not too loud (Black and Decker - returned. That's what I get for buying a blender made by a power tool company!). Looks great, can leave it on the counter. And the glass thing is just the right size. Does a great job.
